Biological therapies, such as lenalidomide, may stimulate the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as dexamethasone, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Bortezomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth or by blocking blood flow to the cancer. Radiation + Chemotherapy for Small Cell Lung Cancer

Hormone Therapy + Immunotherapy for Advanced Breast Cancer

This randomized phase III trial studies tamoxifen citrate or letrozole together with bevacizumab to see how well it works compared with tamoxifen citrate or letrozole alone in treating women with stage IIIB or stage IV breast cancer. Estrogen can cause the growth of breast cancer cells. Hormone therapy using tamoxifen citrate or letrozole may fight breast cancer by blocking the use of estrogen by the tumor cells. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, may induce changes in the body's immune system and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Lenalidomide for Multiple Myeloma

This randomized phase III trial studies lenalidomide to see how well it works compared to a placebo in treating patients with multiple myeloma who are undergoing autologous stem cell transplant. Giving chemotherapy before a peripheral blood stem cell transplant helps kill any cancer cells that are in the body and helps make room in the patient's bone marrow for new blood-forming cells (stem cells) to grow. After treatment, stem cells are collected from the patient's blood and stored. More chemotherapy is then given to prepare the bone marrow for the stem cell transplant. The stem cells are then returned to the patient to replace the blood-forming cells that were destroyed by the chemotherapy. Biological therapies, such as lenalidomide, may stimulate or suppress the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing. Giving lenalidomide after autologous stem cell transplant may be an effective treatment for multiple myeloma.

High-Dose Interferon Alfa for Melanoma

Chemotherapy Reduction After Surgery for Breast Cancer

This trial studies how well paclitaxel, trastuzumab, and pertuzumab work in eliminating further chemotherapy after surgery in patients with HER2-positive stage II-IIIa breast cancer who have no cancer remaining at surgery (either in the breast or underarm lymph nodes) after pre-operative chemotherapy and HER2-targeted therapy. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Trastuzumab and pertuzumab are both a form of "targeted therapy" because they work by attaching themselves to specific molecules (receptors) on the surface of tumor cells, known as HER2 receptors. When these drugs attach to HER2 receptors, the signals that tell the cells to grow are blocked and the tumor cell may be marked for destruction by the body's immune system. Giving paclitaxel, trastuzumab, and pertuzumab may enable fewer chemotherapy drugs to be given without compromising patient outcomes compared to the usual treatment.

Disitamab Vedotin + Tucatinib for Breast Cancer

This clinical trial is studying solid tumor cancers. A solid tumor is one that starts in part of your body like your lungs or liver instead of your blood. Once they've grown bigger in one spot or spread to other parts of the body, they're harder to treat. This is called advanced or metastatic cancer.
Participants in this study must have breast cancer or gastric cancer. Participants must have tumors that have HER2 on them. This allows the cancer to grow more quickly or spread faster. There are few treatment options for patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors that express HER2.
This clinical trial uses an experimental drug called disitamab vedotin (DV). Disitamab vedotin is a type of antibody drug conjugate or ADC. ADCs are designed to stick to cancer cells and kill them.
This clinical trial uses a drug called tucatinib, which has been approved to treat cancer in the United States and some other countries. This drug is sold under the brand name TUKYSA®.
This study will test how safe and how well DV with tucatinib works for participants with solid tumors. This study will also test what side effects happen when participants take these drugs. A side effect is anything a drug does to the body besides treating the disease.

XB2001 + Chemotherapy for Pancreatic Cancer

This trial will include 2 portions (phase 1 and phase 2).
The first portion will be a Phase I, open label, dose escalation study to establish the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of XB2001 as measured by Dose-Limiting Toxicity (DLT), in combination with ONIVYDE + LV + 5-FU chemotherapy regimen in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer and to determine the recommended dose for the subsequent Phase 2 study.
The phase 2 portion will be implemented with the maximum established tolerated dose (MTD) of XB2001. The target enrollment in the phase 2 portion is 60 patients which will be randomized on a 1:1 basis to XB2001 plus ONIVYDE + LV + 5-FU (Arm 1) or placebo plus ONIVYDE + LV + 5-FU (Arm 2).

Atezolizumab + Talazoparib for Small Cell Lung Cancer

This phase II trial studies whether atezolizumab in combination with talazoparib works better than atezolizumab alone as maintenance therapy for patients with SLFN11-positive extensive-stage small cell lung cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. PARPs are proteins that help repair damage to DNA, the genetic material that serves as the body's instruction book. Changes (mutations) in DNA can cause tumor cells to grow quickly and out of control, but PARP inhibitors like talazoparib may keep PARP from working, so tumor cells can't repair themselves, and they stop growing. Giving atezolizumab in combination with talazoparib may help lower the chance of extensive-stage small cell lung cancer growing and spreading compared to atezolizumab alone.

Ramucirumab + Chemotherapy for Small Bowel Cancer

This phase II trial studies how well ramucirumab and paclitaxel or the FOLFIRI regimen (leucovorin calcium, fluorouracil, and irinotecan hydrochloride) work in treating patients with small bowel cancers that have spread extensively to other anatomic sites (advanced) or are no longer responding to treatment (refractory). Ramucirumab is a monoclonal antibody that attaches to and inhibits a molecule called VEGFR-2. This may restrain new blood vessel formation therefore reducing nutrient supply to tumor which may interfere with tumor cell growth and expansion. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, leucovorin calcium, fluorouracil, and irinotecan hydrochloride work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. This randomized phase II trial studies how well ruxolitinib phosphate, and bosutnib, dasatinib, imatinib or nilotinib, work in treating patients with chronic myeloid leukemia. Chronic myeloid leukemia cells produce a protein called BCR-ABL. The BCR-ABL protein helps chronic myeloid leukemia cells to grow and divide. Abiraterone + Antiandrogen +/- Chemotherapy for Advanced Prostate Cancer

This randomized phase II trial studies how well abiraterone acetate and antiandrogen therapy, with or without cabazitaxel and prednisone, work in treating patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer previously treated with docetaxel that has spread to other parts of the body. Androgens can cause the growth of prostate cancer cells. Hormone therapy using abiraterone acetate and antiandrogen therapy may fight prostate cancer by lowering and/or blocking the use of androgens by the tumor cells. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cabazitaxel and prednisone, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving abiraterone acetate and antiandrogen therapy with or without cabazitaxel and prednisone may help kill more tumor cells.
