Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

This trial is for stroke survivors, specifically those with acute ischemic stroke and persistent vessel occlusion. Participants should start physical therapy on or after day 3 from symptom onset to see if delayed mobilization improves recovery.

Inclusion Criteria

I am 18 years old or older.
I am over 18, had a stroke recently, and can get clot-dissolving treatment or EVT.
My stroke treatment didn’t fully open the blocked brain vessel.

Exclusion Criteria

I had significant disability before my stroke.
I have symptoms from a different brain condition or because of chemical imbalances.
I do not have severe health conditions that limit my recovery or life expectancy.

Screening

Participants are screened for eligibility to participate in the trial

Participants receive either delayed mobilization starting on or after day 3 post-stroke or standard care with therapy initiation by day 2 post-stroke.
