What is the purpose of this trial?

This pilot study will explore the metabolic and psychological effects of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) exercise as well as its impact on patient recovery from radical prostatectomy.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

This trial is for men scheduled to have their prostate removed due to prostate cancer. Participants should be healthy enough for exercise and surgery, but specific inclusion or exclusion details are not provided.

Inclusion Criteria

I am scheduled for prostate removal surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital.
English language fluency
My cancer is localized and classified as low, intermediate, or high risk.

Exclusion Criteria

My prostate cancer is locally advanced or has spread to nearby tissues or lymph nodes.
I am unable to walk or exercise due to physical limitations.
I have unstable heart or blood vessel problems.
