Decision Aid for Thyroid Cancer

This trial aims to assist people with low-risk thyroid cancer in making informed treatment choices. Patients will receive a pamphlet, called a Decision Aid, which explains their treatment options and provides questions to discuss with their surgeon. The goal is to determine if this reduces anxiety and helps patients feel more prepared to make a decision. Individuals with low-risk thyroid cancer or a suspicious thyroid nodule who have not yet met with a surgeon might be suitable for this study. As an unphased trial, this study offers a unique opportunity to contribute to research that could enhance decision-making tools for future patients.
