Hearing Protection Training for Noise-Induced Hearing Loss

This trial tests a program designed to reduce noise exposure and prevent hearing loss among farmworkers. Farmworkers often encounter loud machinery noises that can damage hearing over time. The trial will compare two groups: one will receive Multilevel Hearing Protection Training, which includes training on using hearing protection, while the other will continue their usual practices. Ideal candidates for this trial are farmworkers or supervisors currently working on a participating farm who can understand Spanish or English. The results aim to improve hearing health and reduce noise risks in agricultural settings. As an unphased trial, this study allows participants to contribute to important research that could enhance hearing protection strategies in agricultural environments.
