CelluJuve for Nasolabial Folds

This trial tests the safety and effectiveness of CelluJuve®, a treatment for moderate to severe nasolabial folds (the lines running from the nose to the corners of the mouth). Researchers aim to determine how effectively this treatment smooths these facial folds. The trial seeks individuals with noticeable nasolabial folds and healthy skin in the treatment area. Participants should not have any skin conditions that could interfere with the treatment or its evaluation. As an unphased trial, this study offers participants the chance to contribute to groundbreaking research on a promising treatment for facial folds.

The trial requires you to stop taking medications or supplements that prolong bleeding times, like certain anti-inflammatory drugs, anticoagulants, high-dose vitamin E, fish oil, and corticosteroids, at least 7 days before participation. However, low-dose aspirin (81mg/day) is allowed.

Research on CelluJuve® indicates it is generally safe for treating nasolabial folds, the lines from the nose to the mouth. Although specific safety data on CelluJuve® is limited, studies on similar treatments offer insights. For instance, research on a similar product, polycaprolactone gel, showed it is safe and effective for moderate to severe nasolabial folds. These treatments are typically well-tolerated with few side effects. As this trial is in its early stages, direct safety data remains limited. However, CelluJuve® is considered safe enough for human testing. Participants should expect follow-up visits to monitor safety over time.¹²³⁴⁵
