What is the purpose of this trial?
This is a study to evaluate the safety and the efficacy of an electric flosser (interproximal cleaning aid), when used with a manual toothbrush, on gingivitis and dental plaque removal.
Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?
This trial is for people with gum disease, gingivitis, or dental plaque who want to improve their oral health. Participants should not have conditions that would prevent them from safely using a toothbrush or flosser.Inclusion Criteria

Screening
Participants are screened for eligibility to participate in the trial
Washout
Participants undergo a 7 to 14-day washout period using only a provided manual toothbrush and toothpaste
Treatment
Participants are assigned to either the control group (manual brushing) or the investigational group (electric flosser + brushing) for a 30-day period
Follow-up
Participants are monitored for safety and effectiveness after treatment
