What You Need to Know Before You Apply

What is the purpose of this trial?

This trial explores how certain health and wellness products might enhance brain function and overall health in frequent video game players. Participants will receive either the Clarity Active Product or a placebo (a look-alike with no active ingredient) to determine any noticeable differences. Ideal candidates are U.S.-based young professionals who play video games for at least five hours a week and are willing to try a study product without knowing if it's the real product or a placebo. As an unphased trial, this study provides a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative research in health and wellness.

Will I have to stop taking my current medications?

You may need to stop taking your current medications if they have a moderate or severe interaction with the study products, as this could pose a safety risk. It's best to discuss your specific medications with the study team to determine if any changes are necessary.

Is there any evidence suggesting that this trial's treatments are likely to be safe?

Research has shown that the Clarity Active Product has undergone testing in several studies to assess its effects on thinking and memory. Results suggest that most people can use this product without serious side effects. However, some studies found that individuals with existing health issues, such as heart or liver problems, might face higher risks. Participants should inform the study team about their medical history to ensure safety. Overall, the absence of major negative effects in these studies suggests that the product is generally safe for most people.12345

Why are researchers excited about this trial?

Unlike other treatments for cognitive functioning, which often rely on medications like cholinesterase inhibitors or memantine, the Clarity Active Product offers a novel approach. Researchers are excited about this treatment because it introduces a unique active ingredient aimed at enhancing cognitive performance through a different mechanism of action. This could potentially provide benefits with fewer side effects or faster results compared to traditional options. The use of a placebo control group also helps to clearly demonstrate its effectiveness.

What evidence suggests that this trial's treatments could be effective for cognitive functioning?

Research has shown that the Clarity Active Product, which participants in this trial may receive, might help improve thinking and memory. In earlier studies, people using this product reported that their thinking and memory either stayed the same or improved over six to twelve months. Early results also suggest that this product can significantly enhance thinking skills. This evidence indicates that the Clarity Active Product could effectively boost brain function, especially for e-gamers.12678

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

This trial is for adults aged 21-45 who work at least 30 hours a week and identify as E-gamers, playing video games for more than 5 hours weekly. They should be open to improving their health outcomes by at least 30% and willing to take an unknown product (active or placebo). Pregnant, breastfeeding individuals, or those trying to conceive are excluded.
