Revanesse® Renew™+ for Wrinkles

This trial tests a new skin treatment called Revanesse® Renew™+, which improves skin hydration and texture without adding volume. The researchers aim to determine whether receiving the treatment every two weeks or every month is more effective for enhancing skin appearance. Individuals interested in improving facial skin quality and who haven't had recent skin treatments might be suitable candidates for this study. As a Phase 4 trial, this research seeks to understand how this already FDA-approved and effective treatment can benefit more patients.

The trial requires stopping certain medications that can prolong bleeding, like anticoagulants and NSAIDs, 14 days before the injection. If you're on hormonal therapy, you need to be on a stable dose for at least 3 months before the trial and not change it during the study.

Research shows that Revanesse® Renew™+, a skin booster made from hyaluronic acid (HA), is generally safe and well-tolerated. HA fillers like Revanesse® Renew™+ are safe for use in the body. These clear gels are injected under the skin to smooth wrinkles and improve skin texture. Some studies have found that swelling at the injection site can occur later, but this is a known issue with all dermal fillers.

Revanesse® Renew™+ is unique because it uses a specially formulated hyaluronic acid to target wrinkles. Participants in Group A will receive biweekly treatments, while those in Group B will receive monthly treatments. The treatment uses two types of hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance that naturally attracts and holds water in the skin. Studies have found that HA injections can increase skin moisture and reduce wrinkles, making the skin smoother and more flexible. Revanesse treatments also tend to cause less swelling than other similar products.
