Enicepatide for Obesity

This trial tests the safety and effectiveness of a new drug called enicepatide for weight management. It targets individuals who are obese or overweight and have at least one related health issue, such as high blood pressure or sleep apnea. Participants will receive either a placebo (a harmless, inactive substance) or one of three different doses of enicepatide. Ideal candidates are those who have tried and struggled with diet and exercise to lose weight. The trial does not specify if you need to stop taking your current medications. However, if you are on any GLP-1-RA-based therapy, you must stop it at least 6 months before joining the trial.
