What is the purpose of this trial?

The purpose of this clinical study is to look at the safety and tolerability of switching from semaglutide to CagriSema, for participants who have type 2 diabetes. All participants will get CagriSema, the treatment being tested. Participants will be in this clinical study for about 6 months.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

This trial is for people with type 2 diabetes who are currently taking semaglutide and want to see how they tolerate switching to a new medication called CagriSema. Participants should meet basic health requirements set by the study team.

Inclusion Criteria

My sex assigned at birth is male or female.
Glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) 6.5-10.5% (48-91 mmol/mol) inclusive as determined by central laboratory at screening
Body mass index (BMI) ≥ 25 kg/m² at screening, calculated based on height and body weight

Exclusion Criteria

Self-reported change in body weight > 5% within 90 days before screening
Use of personal continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices; participants must discontinue use prior to screening and throughout study participation
My kidney function is severely reduced (eGFR less than 30).

Trial Overview

The study tests what happens when people with type 2 diabetes switch from their current medicine, semaglutide, to a new treatment called CagriSema. Everyone in the trial will receive CagriSema for about 6 months.
