What is the purpose of this trial?

The purpose of this phase 3 study is to establish the efficacy, safety and tolerability of remibrutinib in adult participants with severe chronic pruritus of unknown origin (CPUO).

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

This trial is for adults who have severe, long-lasting itch with no known cause. Participants should not have other conditions or factors that could explain their itching.

Inclusion Criteria

I am 18 years old or older.
Participants must have an average WI-NRS ≥7 over the 7 days prior to randomization/baseline visit
The average WI-NRS score over the preceding 7 days prior to randomization/baseline visit will be calculated based on daily WI-NRS scores

Exclusion Criteria

I do not have active skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis.
I have an active, chronic, or recurring infectious disease or HIV infection.
I have had another cancer (except certain skin or cervical cancers) in the past 5 years.

  • Remibrutinib

Trial Overview

The study compares remibrutinib, a new medication, to a placebo (inactive treatment) to see if it helps reduce severe chronic itch. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either remibrutinib or the placebo.
