What You Need to Know Before You Apply
What is the purpose of this trial?
This study is to test an experimental HIV Vaccine. About 12 participants, aged 18-55 years and who already have cytomegalovirus (CMV) will take part in this study. Participants will come to the clinic for scheduled visits about 21 times over 12 months.
Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?
This trial is for adults aged 18-55 who already have cytomegalovirus (CMV) and do not have HIV. Participants should be generally healthy and able to attend frequent clinic visits over a year.Inclusion Criteria

Trial Overview
The study is testing the safety and immune response of a higher dose of an experimental HIV vaccine called VIR-1388 compared to a placebo. About 12 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the vaccine or placebo.
